Since Mad Dog Ged first went down the Kawarau River on a board in 1985, Mad Dog Riverboarding has taken the lead in River Boarding.
Experience the most personally challenging white water adrenalin activity around. Harness the awesome gravity fed power of the mighty Kawarau River as you blast head first down the grade 3 'Roaring Meg' section.
Mad Dog Riverboarding offers thrilling river boarding. Blast through the rapids, spin round the whirlpools, catch squirts and if that's not enough we are the only river boarding company where you can go for a jet ski sled ride or try our wicked water slide, awesome rope swing and a rock jump or three.

- Water confidence and swimming ability needed
- Minimum age is 12 years old
