All our guides are specifically trained to offer an unforgettable trip, using their extensive overseas experience to compliment their guiding on the waterways surrounding Rotorua.
Sustainability is hard to achieve in such a transient work environment but here at Kaitiaki adventures we pride ourselves on our crew. The environment created is more of a Whanau(family) unit, with guides leaving but returning after the season, refreshed, and having obtained further knowledge and becoming more world wise.

Trip Includes
- Optional return transfers from Rotorua accommodation
- Safety briefing and rafting training
- 45mins - 1hr rafting including the worlds largest commercially rafted waterfall
- All equipment provided including wetsuit, fleece jumper, life jacket, booties & helmet
Duration
- Allow 3.5hrs (including travel time from Rotorua)
Departures
- 9am, 12.30pm & 2.30pm
- Meet us at our base on state highway 30 at Hells Gate (15 minutes out of town)
- Complimentary transfers available from your central Rotorua accommodation
- Operates all year round
Other Information
- No previous rafting experience required
- Please bring swimsuit and a towel
- Suitable for all active people 13 years and over
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Rotorua hotel transfers will be approximately half an hour before the trip time
- We will have an adventure photographer take photos of your experience which will be available to view and purchase on completion of your trip
