The West Coast may have a reputation for it's high rainfall but because of all that water, On yer bike has the most amazing offroad tracks through masses of puddles, mud and thriving rainforest.
Mud-tastic off road quad or go-kart adventure for all ages through 300 acres of West Coast rainforest and farm. Navigate your own quad bike or 2 seater off road Go-Kart across rivers, through masses of our famous mud and puddles that resemble small lakes. We cater for beginners to experienced riders with a variety of winding tracks from Mild to Wild! Other activities include our extreme off-road machine the Hagglund the most extreme way to get off-road, you can experience it staying warm and dry inside, while the Hagglund gets down and dirty. On yer bike is also home to “Little Earth”, NZ’s first Model Village.
Quad Biking
Our most popular being the automatic or manual Quad Bikes and smaller Quad bikes for kids. Tours are from 1-2 hours long and cater for the absolute beginner to experienced rider. Minimum age is 12 years.
1 Hour Enchanted Forest Track
A magical mix of mud, water and inviting trails to give you a satisfying taste of real off-roading over 300 acres of privately owned farm and rainforest.
2 Hours Bush’n’Bog Track
Combine adventure with scenery and venture into the heart of the native rainforest. Ride through copious amounts of our famous mud and puddles that resemble small lakes. Refreshment stop included! .
1.5 Hours Mighty mud Track (advanced)
Accept the challenge of the muddiest, wettest and most difficult of all our tracks! The most challenging of quad biking for adventurous experienced or confident riders. Minimum age is 16 years and older.
Go Karts
You could also try these adventures in a two-seater off-road gokart . Alone or with a friend, enjoy the experience in a rugged mud-loving buggy. Karts and bikes can travel together. Minimum age for the driver is 16 and for the passenger is 3 years old.
1 Hour Off-Road Go-Kart Safari (2 seater)
No licence required! Just a taste for fun and adventure! These 2 seater go karts are an awesome way to venture into the forest with a friend by your side.
2 Hour Off-Road Go-Kart Safari ( 2 seater )
Journey into the forest through our mud and puddles resembling small lakes with a partner in grime by your side! A fun way to get down and dirty!
Hot Tracks (Hagglund)
New to On yer bike is the Hot Tracks Hagglund adventure. The incredible all-terrain ability of these machines will give you an off-road experience through the mud unlike any other. The Hagglund is a perfect adventure for families who need to stay clean and dry but would like to try some extreme off-roading. The Hagglund carries 15 passengers of any age.
1 Hour Wilderness Hot Tracks Hagglund Tour
All aboard for an extreme off-road adventure unlike any other! You will be amazed at the all terrain ability of these Military Hagglund machines. You stay clean and dry while Hot Tracks gets down and dirty, journeying through our famous mud and creeks. Venture deep into the heart of the native rainforest, where you can appreciate the beauty of the West Coast. Stop at our Little Earth Model Village for a wander.
Little Earth Village
While you're at On Yer Bike! you may enjoy a stroll through Little Earth Model Village. Based on real West Coast towns, Waiuta and Reefton, these villages cover an acre of land indoor and out and are the first of their kind in New Zealand. Alan Hunt, the modeller, is there most days to show you around. His buildings are realistically modelled from photgraphs and are a 1:12 scale.
They are set amongst a gorgeous backdrop of native forest and include a small lake.
A cafe is onsite for great (fair trade organic) coffee and light meals.
