Half day guided Seal Kayaking tours
Welcome to our magic little sea-side village of Kaikoura, where the marine life out numbers the humans and mountains meet the sea. Our hassle free, Eco Friendly tours offer a safe, enjoyable, interactive trip, with little effort and a whole lot of good fun!
Watch NZ Fur Seals, dive and manoeuver around and under your kayak. Paddle with them as they swim around the Kaikoura Peninsula hunting for Octopus. Keep your distance while dinner is devoured in front of you, then duck for cover as hundreds of Pelagic (ocean going) birds swoop in to clean up the left-overs. Continue your journey around the Kaikoura coastline for chance encounters with Dusky Dolphins.
Suitable for all age's & ability's, operating year round, kayaking with the marine life in Kaikoura has been the highlight for a lot of traveller's & familys while in NZ!

Departures
- 8.30am, 12.30pm & 4.30pm during summer (Nov - Apr)
- 9am & 1pm during winter (May - Oct)
- Departs from the Kaikoura Information Centre on West End in the main street
Other Information
- Family groups most welcome!
- Please bring: Long sleeved thermal top, fleece, shorts or light pants (e.g. quick drys, NO JEANS!), sunglasses, cap, running shoes or sandals, drinking water, camera & towel
- No previous kayaking experience required
- Our trips depart from the Kaikoura Information Centre on West End, Kaikoura. Look for a trailer full of kayaks!
