Located at Agroventures, 10km from Rotorua city, the Agrojet provides New Zealand’s fastest Jet boating experience and offers passengers the ultimate speed sensation on the worlds only commercial jet sprint ride.
Jetsprint racing is one of the hottest new competitions on the international circuit. Through the development of the Agrojet it is now available for anyone to enjoy and has become an immensely popular attraction located at Agroventures in Rotorua.
Be strapped in, buckled up as you hang on to THE EDGE of your seat before you accelerate to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. Our professional driver will take you on heart racing hot laps of our 1km sprint course. You’ll feel the wind rush past you, G-forces pulling you, as you negotiate islands, sharp turns and finish off with the famous roaring 360 degree Hamilton Jet spin. The G-force sensation is akin to a Formula One Racing car in full throttle. Climb aboard. Snuggle into the bucket seat, click into your four-point race harness and let your pro driver show you what life’s really like in the fast lane – because there is no slowing down for the corners!
The Boats
These 13 foot, state of the art water scythes cut a foaming path through the Agrojet watercourse – the hot 383Ci 6.3L V8 Chevy engine delivers a pulsing 450 horsepower to the one stage jet unit.

Duration
- Allow 1 hour including travel time from Rotorua
Departures
- All day between 9am and 5pm
- You will need to get your own way to the Agroventures base located 10kms from Rotorua township on State Highway 5 next to the Agrodome. You can drive yourself or catch the local bus that departs every 10 minutes from town
Other Information

- Clients need to be at least 1 metre tall. There are no age restrictions
- Those that are pregnant, have a heart condition, neck or back problems or a neurological disorder should not participate in the Agrojet or they should seek medical advice and certification first
