Whakarewarewa - Redwood Forest
Rotorua City has become a mecca for mountain bikers from all over the world. With over 100km of purpose built mountain biking trails all a short 5 minute drive from the city centre, you would struggle to find anywhere better in the world. Allow 3-4 hours round trip with 2-3 hours riding depending on your skill and fitness levels. Suitable for 8 years of age and older.
Bikes
All our bikes are the latest model 2011/2012 Santa Cruz Heckler, Marin Mount Vision, Lapierre Zesty, Kona Operator, GT Distortion, and GT Force full suspensions and GT Avalanche and Merida Matts TFS hard tails. We also have all the necessary equipment such as helmets and full finger gloves, as well as knee, shin and elbow pads or full face helmets on request.

Other Information
- The Redwood Forest ride is suitable for all bike riders 8 years of age and older
- You must wear closed in footwear (ie runners). No open toe footwear
- Ideally wear shorts and a couple of layers on the top half
- Bring some bottled water
- Operates all year
- Cross crountry and downhill riding
- Kids over 8 yrs are welcome but there are no child rates available
