Treat your family to a 35 minute 'City Sights' tour taking in the inner Hauraki Gulf islands of Rangitoto, Rakino, Motutapu and Waiheke; or bring your friends on an all day 'Waiheke and Wine' including vineyard tour and optional lunch on the island, with a return to the city via fast ferry; or try the 90 minute 'Great Coast Discovery' which goes over almost the whole the Hauraki Gulf. If on Waiheke Island why not do the "Waiheke Buzz Around" which is the perfect way to the whole island in 20mins.
You'll find uninterrupted views from every seat as each of our aircraft are High Wing, offering unrestricted views perfect for scenic photography and sightseeing.
Our pilots offer an informative, friendly commentary which everyone can hear through the individual head sets provided.

City Sights - 35 mins flying
You start this journey with the picturesque bays of Auckland's North Shore, passing historic North Head with its historic defence forts and tunnels. You then proceed up the Waitemata harbour. Wave to the cars and bungy jumpers on the harbour bridge as you fly over the harbour and circle the central city. You'll fly by several of the city's 50 volcanic cones and craters including Mt Eden and One Tree Hill.
Your flight then takes you around the summit of Rangitoto Island, Auckland's youngest and largest volcano. Admire this natural reserve from above and note the black volcanic lava flows from the cone.
The final leg of your trip will take you north along the eastern coast line, taking in scenic North Shore beaches before returning to the airfield.
Waiheke and Wine - 30 mins flying, 3-4 hour wine tour
After your 30 minute flight enjoy a 3-4 hour wine tour of the spectacular Waiheke region then catch the 4 or 4.45 pm sailing back to Auckland. Journey by air, land and sea. Departing from the North Shore airfield, the Waiheke and Wine tour flies you over the Hauraki Gulf and around Rangitoto Island, Auckland's youngest and largest volcano.
From here, you are taken on a journey to Waiheke Island, a picturesque blend of farmland, forests, beaches, vineyards and olive groves. You will circle the entire island, passing Stony Batter, a historic World War 2 defence complex on the eastern tip, before being delivered to your coach for a tour of one of the finest vineyards on the island.
Indulge yourself in fine wines and world class dining for the afternoon. Once you've had your fill, a fast ferry will escort you back across the Hauraki Gulf and into the Auckland CBD.
Great Coast Discovery - 90 mins flying
We head off from our base at North Shore Airfield on a north east bearing toward Whangaparaoa Peninsula and Tiritiri Matangi Island, offering along the way stunning views of Rangitoto, Auckland’s youngest and most dominant volcano. Tiritiri Matangi is a forest and birdlife sanctuary within Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf harbour.
From here, we head north over Kawau Island with views of its historic Mansion House, and shipwreck bay with th e visible shipwreck from which it receives its name. We then head out to Great Barrier Island for spectacular views of its mountain peaks and spectacular beaches, taking in the uninhabited Little Barrier Island along the way. We take in the beaches of Great Barrier’s eastern coast, and expansive views out across the South Pacific ocean before heading across to the rugged coastline of the northern coast of the Coromandel Peninsula.
Experience the scenery of the Coromandel coastline, a popular Kiwi holiday destination, before returning back across the Hauraki Gulf. We return to our base via the north-eastern coastline of Waiheke Island, before heading across Motutapu and Rangitoto Islands. Rangitoto is the youngest of Auckland’s 55 volcanos. We finally take in the scenic coast of Auckland’s North Shore before landing back at the Flight Hauraki base.
Waiheke Buzz Around - 20 mins flying (flight based out of Waiheke)
As the name suggests, we fly you right around Waiheke. The flight gives you a great perspective of the island and offers spectacular views. It gives you an idea of how Waiheke fits into the Hauraki Gulf and sweeping views of many of the surrounding islands.
Some of the highlights include birds eye views of the numerous wineries, WW2 tunnels at Stony Batter, Oneroa township and the many multi million dollar mansions spread throughout the island.
