As you are safely harnessed in you will experience the majestic view of the clear waters beneath, and the native flora and fauna surrounding you, which is why you came to New Zealand in the first place...right? And when you drop through the air, sit back, relax and enjoy the freedom of flight.
The Cliffhanger apparatus itself, does not have a swing seat attached. Instead, the design of your full body harness, including a seat plate sewn in, allows you to remain in a seated position throughout the swing, if you prefer. Alternatively, you can swing in a lay-back style or completely upside down, for the full head rush!
How close to the water will I get?
The average height above the water is 5 metres, at the lowest point of your swing. This means you drop a wicked 38 metres or so before barrelling up again!
Bungy Combo
You can combine your swing with the 47 metre Taupo Bungy for a combo that will knock your socks off!

- The Taupo bungy & swing site is open from 9am - 5pm every day (except Christmas)
- The site is located just a short walk from the town centre at 202 Spa Road, Taupo
