We set out to find one of New Zealand’s most breathtaking spots to view from the air and found the perfect place over Kaikoura’s stunning coast and Seaward Kaikoura Mountain Ranges. The scenery just doesn’t get any better! We can’t wait to share it with you!
A tandem parachute jump is the ideal way to experience skydiving without having to commit hours of your time to completing a course. The training required is minimal and one of our professional, experienced instructors will walk you through the whole process.
Once arriving at the dropzone you will receive basic skydiving and parachute instruction before being given a jumpsuit, protective headwear, goggles and gloves to wear. You will also be fitted with a harness.

We are located between Christchurch and Picton in the seaside town of Kaikoura, New Zealand. Either catch the transcoastal train or make the scenic drive to soak up the combination of ocean and alpine scenery.
Trip Includes
- Return transfers from Kaikoura township to the drop zone located 10 minutes from town
- Tandem skydive from 9,000ft, 11,000ft or 13,000ft
Duration
- Allow 2hrs 30 minutes round trip from Kaikoura township
Departures
- Hourly from 8am until sunset
- Skydive Kaikoura is located at Kaikoura Airport, 8kms out of town heading south on state highway 1
- Return transfers are available from Kaikoura township
- Operates during summer monthly only (Nov - Apr)
Other Information
- Minimum age is 12 years old. Under 18 years must have written consent from a parent or guardian
- Over 65's can jump but need to bring a note from their doctor saying they are ok to jump
- Max weight is 100kgs
- DVD & photos package available for purchase on the day. Handicam dvd $150, photos $100, Photos & DVD combo $170
- Weather dependent so we recommend booking for one of your first days in Kaikoura so that you can reschedule if necessary
