Description
Based on the shores of scenic Lake Rotorua and operated by the famous Kawarau Jet, parasailing is truly a unique experience. Fly solo or tandem with a friend, finishing by gently returning back to the flight deck for a smooth landing. Parasailing operates all year round weather permitting.
Surveyed for 12 people we operate a a 27ft purpose built parasailing vessel equipped with twin 150hp Yamaha 4 stroke engines.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with a quality, safe and enjoyable experience that will exceed expectations.
Parasailing is weather dependent so please check with our team that we are "go for launch" on the day of your Rotorua Parasailing.

Duration
- Allow up to 1 hour including transfers (10 minute flight)
Departures
- Every hour on the hour during daylight hours
- Parasailing is weather dependant & bookings are essential
- Departs from pier on Memorial Drive on Rotorua’s scenic Lakefront only minutes from the town centre
Other Information
- Observers permitted for small fee if seats available
- No experience required, altitude and direction controlled by your parasail pilot
- Sensible footwear and clothing required
- Minimum age 5 years and restrictions apply
- Minimum weight 50kg. Maximum weight 180kg
- Wear a warm jacket or fleece, casual footwear, sunglasses and sunscreen
