Up Up & Away operates seven of the largest and most advanced balloons in the country, with an overall capacity for up to 75 passengers at a time.
Up Up and Away can provide courtesy transfers from all Hotels, Motels, Hostels and B&B's in and around Christchurch.

- Minimum age is 5 years old
- There is no upper age limit. We have regularly flown people in their 80’s and 90’s and the oldest to fly with Up Up & Away has been 102
- All the pilots are internationally qualified commercial pilots and amongst the most experienced in the world. All are full time professionals
- It is warm in the balloon so you should dress as if you were going for a walk outside in the city. We suggest that you wear walking boots or similar, and not high heels. Practical outdoor footware for frosty or damp conditions under foot is ideal. Bring a hat or cap and sunglasses
