Kaituna River Rafting
Kaitiaki Adventures Rotorua, N.Z is where white-water enthusiasts can find satisfaction. Blending the unusual mix of adrenalin and culture. Raft the Kaituna River with their world class guides, snake through bush clad canyons, plunge down the 7m Tutea Falls all in one hour.
Sledging
Original sledging specialists since 1989, with 2-3 river runs at their disposal.
Kaitiaki challenge you to try their sledging option where the clients get to take the rivers on at eye level. Propelled by the flippers on their feet, motivated and assisted by WWSNZ (White Water Sledging NZ) qualified guides it is a white-water adrenalin junkies dream. Our guides are all NZQA Qualified, our business is a maritime safety approved operation.

Departures

- If you wish to do this over mutliple days then you can choose the specific dates and departure times for each activity
- Meet us at our base on state highway 30 at Hells Gate (15 minutes out of town)
- Complimentary transfers available from your central Rotorua accommodation
- Operates all year round
Other Information
- $13 cheaper than booking the two activities separately
- No previous rafting or sledging experience required
- Please bring swimsuit and a towel
- Suitable for all active people 13 years and over
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Rotorua hotel transfers will be approximately half an hour before the trip time
- We will have an adventure photographer take photos of your experience which will be available to view and purchase on completion of your trip
